The Great Cumbrian Run 2011

Sunday 02 October 2011 a fortnight after my Ironman i decided to enter the Cumbrian Run, a nice steady run but found my legs were heavy managed to get round in a time of 1: 39: 29 so i was well pleased. Hope to get my time down to 1: 29 : something in 2012, if i manage this target for a half marathon  i will be setting another one. I spent 20 years or so inactive where i was a heavy smoker, now just seeing how far i can go. My Personal best time of  1 : 26 : something on the old Cumbrian Run  route Brampton to Carlisle some 25 years ago, i took this race at short notice under the name of Tony Bell who had to pull out. 2012 should be an interesting year.

The Big day

This Sunday, Henley-on-Thames. We are now down to three because of a stupid Cat deciding to cross the road at a bad time and getting in the wheel of Richards Bike. Ending in trip to hospital, time off work and missing the Iron man.
