Montane Lakeland 100

A Photo of Angela Armstrong with some edits because i couldn't make my mind up on the one to put on doing the Montane Lakeland 100 heading down to Dockray just after the 50 mile checkpoint taken on the 28th July. Angela finished joint 3rd Lady with Nicky Taylor and Julie Gardner in a time of 30 hours 30 min and 06 secs AMAZING WELL DONE.

Big thanks to Staff at( Lakes Runner ) for letting me loiter with my camera giving me the chance to catch the first three in the Montane Lakeland 100 before having to dash off to do my Grandparent's duty's

Skiddaw

Skiddaw 2009 1:38:21. 86th out of 109. Weather red hot. First attempt at Skiddaw.

Bodyfit Eaglesfield Paddle 5k

My first 5k road race since the Eighties Managed to get round in 21:00 so well pleased. Now mind is on Skiddaw tomorrow, hope the old legs don't let me down.

Langstrath Fell Race

Last night I had a go at Langstrath fell race. lots of top runners had the same idea. but i was no1. Only because i arrived early, it ends there. Below is a photo of Race Winner Ricky Lightfoot in a time of  00:37:13

I had a really good run in with Phillipa for about the last mile and a half, after she destroyed me on the last climb. Both crossed the line in 00:56:38 so i was well pleased.
